Hi All,

I just purchased a new iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Watch Ultra 2, I restored the phone from my previous iPhone 13 and set the watch up as a new watch, I cannot get location services to work correctly in particular the compass on not showing Lat Long and the weather app will not work on current location.

I have tried everything including going to the Genius Bar where they replaced the watch thinking that the GPS may have been faulty.

Nothing that I have done has rectified it and it has Apple saying that have no idea.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I suspect it is a firmware bug.

Location services and all the apps are just fine on the phone.

I have unpaired the watch several time and even paired it to another iPhone with the same result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

PAul

Had the same issue and it looks like this is the same bug that was stopping the weather complications & app from loading correctly.

I resolved this by resetting Location and Privacy settings on my phone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset > Location and Privacy.

I can now set waypoints and Long/Lat is being updated in the compass app.

Pain in the ass having to set up location preferences for all my apps again but at least it’s work as expected!
Had the same issue. You’ll need to reset your location and privacy settings as described.

Thank you it worked perfectly, I wish the Apple Store knew how to do this, I was there for 4 hours!
