Is that only GPS? if i turn that off and i use google maps, it will still be able to find my location, but just not as accurate correct?

If you completely turn off Location Services, Google Maps won't be able to find your location at all.
O i read otherwise... hmm. saying it would be able to find it threw gprs, i guess triangulate with tower signals. EDIT yea your right.

I know for a fact if you use the Maps app or Google Maps through Safari, it won't find it.
