I can't imagine I'm the only one with this problem. While it's great that more and more functionality of iOS is available for the Apple TV, I feel increasingly uncomfortable about the fact that all my YouTube subscriptions, podcasts, photos etc. are there for the family to see. I know it's possible to use multiple Apple IDs on the Apple TV, but that's really besides the point. I don't want to use another Apple ID; I just want to lock certain apps behind some kind of passcode. Other apps, like Plex and Netflix, can remain unlocked.

Is it possible to achieve what I want in any way?

Worried your family will respect you less if they discovery how big of a Bieber fan you are? :p

I agree though, both on iOS and tvOS, that would be a neat feature.

On ATV3 this could be done. But I can't on the ATV4. We should send a bug/feature request to Apple
