Hello,

Does anyone know of a terminal command or third-party utility that can lock the dock to a single monitor when using multiple monitors?

I know I can disable the "monitors have separate spaces" settings, but that also changes a whole lot of other behavior, so I would like to just prevent the dock from moving when I accidentally run the cursor across the bottom of the screen.

Thanks.

No way if the dock is at the bottom of the screen. I finally broke down & moved my dock to the side, to eliminate this behavior.

It doesn't answer your whole question, but makes it easier to deal with.
