I'm running iOS 8.0.2.

The timers shows as 00:00 instead of the remaining time on the lock screen.

Present on iPad 4 & iPhone 6.

Can anyone offer any solutions to fix this, please?

I use this feature all the time, so it's a problem.

Thanks in advance ...

This bug has been present since iOS 7.
It only happens when the clock is set to AM/PM.
if you set the clock to 24 hours mode the timer works as it should.

Nice to see Apple are on top of things and getting these bugs sorted nice and quickly.

You were bang on.

Now on 24hr mode, and working perfectly.

Thanks ...

You are also correct!!

Watch what you say, though, or you'll end up with the fanboys on your case ...

But I guess only in some regions and/or with some regional settings. Since in US with AM/PM enabled the countdown timer appears just fine on the lockscreen.

That's a strange one. I changed my region from UK to US just to test it and the timer does indeed show correctly on the lock screen.. The only problem with that is my keyboard now shows the Dollar sign instead of the Pound sign despite having UK keyboard selected.
So it's back to UK region and 24 hour clock.
I'll send Apple feedback on this (waste of time I know).
