iPad Pro Lock Screen — Random added language to keyboard

Has anyone ever seen this ? This happened when I setup the new iPad as ”new”. In settings this keyboard does not show up.

Nope. Brand new from Apple.

Also, it does not appear all the time — only sometimes. Owned many iOS iPadOS products and never seen this before.

Maybe you accidentally selected another language/country somewhere during setup. Can you do a reset and start a fresh setup?

I have never selected any other langugue for the iPad except for English (US) and Emoji.

However, I did find a fix for this! If anyone else ever runs into this issue:

I just “Reset all settings”. NOT “Reset all settings and content”. Anyway just resetting the settings removed this phantom added language. You will have to redo all the basic settings BUT all your content and data are still there. Phew.
