lock/volume buttons rattle when you tap the iphone 4 on something hard

when i tap my phone 4 on something (anything...not necessarly hard) i can hear the volume and lock buttons rattling....those buttons didnt ratttle with my 3G
 
I don't think it's the buttons....holding them and tapping the back of the phone still produces a rattle.

Opposite with me. My 3gs silent switch would rattle a little bit, but the one on my 4 is solid.
 
Mine makes a LOUD scrapey noise when I drag it across a chalk board, do you think I should take it in to the apple store and ask for a new one?

Dear OP,

Hopefully you can someday find a phone that will enable you to bang it on something hard without rattle noises. That would be the ultimate phone ever!!

Mine rattles a little bit too, like when I put it down on something you can kinda hear it. It's kind of annoying but whatever.
