Hi there,

I am a mac newbie and need help as this problem is driving me tits!

Every time I want to change a setting in my macbook i have to "click the lock to make changes".

How do I change my settings so I can make these changes without having to enter a password everytime?

Also; my account type is admin so I thought I didnt have to do this?

Cheers, Petehab

You probably have the "require password for each secure system preference" setting enabled in Security, in System Preferences. Turn this off.
