iPhone Lockinfo help: how to remove this bar from lock screen

No matter what I do, the notification bar below the weather/time won't go away. What's the problem?

I've selected "show nothing" on lock screen (widgets or notifications).

No matter what I do, the notification bar below the weather/time won't go away. What's the problem?

I've selected "show nothing" on lock screen (widgets or notifications).

I believe "show nothing" just means it'll be collapsed as opposed to the widget or notification tabs being open by default.

According to the developer, there is no way to remove the "filter bar."

Which is really disappointing. It wasn't necessary on the previous version of the app, so I'm not sure why it has to be now. Such an eyesore.
