Ok..I have block pop ups set to on. When I try to download or update something from the App Store, the pop asking me for my password never pops up. I believe this is because I have block pop ups on.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I hate the stock apple pop ups...but I need certain things to work like the App Store password.

I'm using Lock Info and Notified Pro (I made a mistake in the title of this post) to block the standard Apple pop ups. What do you need a screenshot of? I'd be happy to take one.

i thought you meant that new popup blocker that was advertised when lockinfo updates to 3.0 its made by the same developer as lock info have you always had notified pro installed? maybe thats conflicting with lockinfo somehow

if thats not the case i would turn pop ups on in lockinfo and try the pop up blocker app its supposely very customizable

Upgrade to the LockInfo 3.0 Beta (it's very stable and awesome) and then download the suggested Popup Blocker app from Cydia.

Then turn off all popup blocking in LockInfo and Notified Pro, and then customize which popups you want blocked in Popup Blocker. It is very customizable and awesome.

I have the same issue and the setup described in the 2nd quote (newer pop-up blocker). If I reboot, the 1st time I use the app store everything is fine. Subsequent uses and the popup gets blocked. Can't seem to figure it out other than trying to install various things. Everything seemed to work fine until very recently.

I have the exact same problem ever since upgrading to lockinfo 3.0. I also notice that i have to tap on any notification/email/sms twice on the lockscreen in order to open the appropriate app. I also have to repeat the inputs for quick composing an sms twice through bitesms

when i uninstall lockinfo i no longer get this problem, i'm sticking with notifier pro for my notifications now, but i would like to go back to lockinfo

I've been having this same problem. I was always able to restart or respring to get the password pop-up to show up in the app store, but since yesterday I haven't been able to get it working at all.

I uninstalled Lockinfo, StayOpened, Pop-up Blocker. I also turned off the pop-up blocker in NotifiedAddOn, and I still can't get the password pop-up to come up. I'm not sure what other apps could be related to this problem, so I just uninstalled anything I thought might affect it.

When I go into the app store and click "Update All", for the most part nothing happens. On occasion, the app store will close, and scroll to the last page where the 3 apps should be updating, but instead of actually updating, they are just grayed-out with the progress bar not moving or turning blue.

If I reboot, the 1st time I use the app store everything is fine. Subsequent uses and the popup gets blocked.
This is what I used to do. Now I'm not even able to do this.

Yeah I've got pretty much the same problem...I don't really know how it started, all I know is that the problem initiates when it asks for an app update.

After that, I usually need to restart the phone, but then the effectiveness of the restarts eventually goes to zero (i.e. doesn't matter how many times I restart, I won't be able to update the apps anymore).

I don't really understand what started this problem; I really don't want to revert back to a stock iOS

Just a question, but did any of you guys sync your iphone to the app store in itunes?

I'm thinking that maybe the problem (I haven't tested it out yet)

hey thanks for this tip - I was able to create an exception in Popup Blocker for Talkatone and so far so good....

so as to not hijack this thread - you may find this thread useful to read too.
