I can tap on a notification and the application will open; however unlike IntelliscreenX, I cannot tap on a calendar entry or Reminder and get the application to open. It is very convenient to be able to tap on the event/reminder to change the date or time BEFORE the notification appears.

Are sections collapsable in ISX? And you can't dismiss single notifications like LI, right? Have the developers mentioned if they're going to add this feature?

Only the Twitter section has this send functionality (LockInfo)

But LockInfo does look good !

Not to go off topic, but what are the red lines at the far right for mail, messages, etc? What wallpaper are you using? Makes the lockinfo look nice.

Just slightly off topic here, but hopefully someone will be able to help.

With IntelliScreenX when on the lockscreen you can pull down/up the notification center, however I cannot seem to do this on LockInfo. This was my favorite feature of IntelliScreenX, but I like the customability of LockInfo.

The lockscreen on my iPhone just comes up with the notifications center as default and I cannot slide it up or down. Is this normal? does it not have this functionality? or am I missing something in the settings option?

Hope someone has an idea about this :)

Thanks

Tee

Hey Tee,

If you're using Activator, you can go to:

Settings > Activator > At Lock Screen > (Select a swipe method, I use "Slide in Gesture, From Screen Top") > Select "LockInfo - Lockscreen"

This won't pull down/up the notification center but it will hide/unhide the notifications.

Your an absolute star, thank you :)

So I take it LockInfo have done that by design and it is not supposed to "swipe" away to hide it?

Is there anyway to hide the notification center by default, so it is not the first thing I see when I switch my iPhone on?

What you want to use is Infoshade. LockInfo has three ways to view: Lockscreen, Homescreen, and Infoshade. Lockscreen will always be ON by default, but if you disable it, and enable Infoshade to work via an activator gesture, then you can configure Infoshade the same way you have the lockscreen setup currently, except by default the Infoshade will be hidden until you activate it via the gesture.

EDIT:

Just make sure the gesture you pick is set from Activator, because setting the gesture from Lockinfo only applies that gesture to homescreen and in Apps only. To make it complete, go to Activator, at lockscreen, and set the same gesture for InfoShade.

Now that works a treat, thank you kind sir

However, currently i'm preferring IntelliscreenX over LockInfo

Notifications Clearing

Another little bugbear with LockInfo!

When you get notifications on the lockscreen e.g. email, calls or SMS is there anyway for them to not clear off the notification center?

For example in IntelliScreenX you can read an SMS or email but it will not clear until you actually go into the SMS or email app or mark it cleared.

LockInfo clears it pretty much right after you have read it, I sometime read all/part of the message and would like it to be left there so I remember to reply to it later if I can't at that very moment.

Anyone have have ideas or ways around this please?

The easiest way to do this would be to have InfoShade replace Notification center. You can do that by going to the Notification Center Settings IN Lockinfo's settings.

After that, configure each plugin's settings (Phone, Messages, Mail and Notifications) in Lockinfo to match up with how/when you want their individual notifications to actually be marked as read, instead of just from tapping on them once.

I see a lot of people use LI on their lock screen and ISX for notification center - What kind of settings are you guys doing to achieve this? Any LI plugins you guys recommend?

I use the notification center addon Calendar Pro which I then use LockInfo's homescreen option to put the calendar pro widget onto my springboard. Then I have two rows of icons plus the dock. Between gridlock, springtomize, and folder enhancer I have my springboard exactly how I want it with a clean looking calendar widget without the overhead of typical html widgets.

Screenshot please :p

I only use ISX

At the moment, I'm still going to have to go with LockInfo. I have recently purchased IntelliscreenX and whlie it's a very useful tweak (that doesn't drain the battery like people think), it's very cumbersome on the lockscreen and leaves very little privacy should someone happen to bother your phone. Customizing ISX isn't as extensive as that of lockinfo. What I like most is having my Twitter, Facebook, and Mailbox all in the Notification Center. I got rid of my apps for Facebook and Twitter because of it (I may bring it back for messaging and such) and I'm still playing around with ISX so I can't really add more to the list.
