locking an unlocked iphone original

I have a original Iphone that is unlocked with ver 1.07 Is there a way I could upgrade to the new 2.2 and lock it for AT&T?

also, assuming this is possible.....can I use the app store and the softwares?

Yes all you have to do is update it to 2.2 in itunes and it will be relocked and you will have all the lovely features with the 2.0+ updates. 😀
