The Misty Mountains
Did anyone ever get into this?

Not a typical show, about a guy drifting through life who finds a Lynx Lodge ring on the beach, in Long Beach, California. Later that day, his car breaks down in front of the Lynx Lodge. The fictional Lynx Lodge is headquartered in the UK, and they are expecting a visit from the emissary from London. I watched Season 1 and loved it. I let Season 2 slide by, but got it recorded! What the heck, I started over with Season 1. :)

Not everyone will love it. ;)

It's sort of Big Lebowski-esque.

It seems that it's been canceled (at least so far) after season 2: https://www.newsweek.com/lodge-49-cancelled-season-3-savelodge49-paul-giamatti-1468744
Yes, I saw that it was cancelled. This is a show where you’d better love the characters because the story is glacial, so it relies on these character’s interactions. I want there something to be mysterious about the Lodge, but I have about 6 episodes left in Season 2. So no spoilers please, if something big happens. :) Something about it grabbed me, yet I can easily understand why it did not grab a big audience, and some people probably hated it because it was too slow.

I liked it quite a bit through season 1, and started watching season 2 with interest, but only managed to get half way through before I kind of (inadvertently) gave up.
