Hi I'm new to this place, having aquired Logic a couple of months ago, but just recently have run into a wealth of issues:
Firstly, when changing the output from headphones to monitor speakers (and vice versa) from my macbook, Logic decides to add about two seconds of latency to the armed recording track. I found I could get round this by switching the input to the in-built mic, then back again, but surely this shouldn't happen at all? Recorded phrases also suffer from latency, and I'm not sure how to remedy this either.😕
Secondly (and this only started today), when I try to use the midi instruments with the musical typing tool a spring reverb-type click comes into play, destroying any chance of a clean recording. Has anyone else heard of this?
They seem all to be linked in one way or another to latency, but I haven't managed to find many pointers in forums or troubleshooters. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers, Matt
