Being a total noob to Macs...

My Imac (Rev A) needs a new Logic Board (I assume this is Mac Terminology for a Motherboard) - If so, I assume that ripping the guts out and replacing them will effectively make the Imac a Rev B (aside from HDD/RAM etc).

Main question is does it still mean I will be stuck with the FX5200 chip?

pretty sure you'll end up with the same motherboard (and the same video precessor, ect...) but you could always hope for an upgrade
