Has anyone here had much experience with it?

I'm a Pro Tools guy mainly, but LE looks pretty nice. Especially for the cost.

The main reason I am inerested is that I am doing a video for our company, and I'm doing the music as well. I understnd that LE syncs with Quicktime. This would be a wonderful thing to have, and it seems like since both are Apple apps, integration would be pretty seamless.

I'm just curious about the plugins, the mixing, the automation, etc etc.

Ay LE fans/haters here?

...er ProTools syncs perfectly with QT and with MPG and DV if your HD is quick enough.

Logic Express is cool enough, but doesn't have the bells and whistles of the Pro version.

I use ProTools in post-production all the time, it's a perfect tool for manipulating audio to picture, true, it doesn't handle MIDI quite as well as Logic, but it's not bad with a few good synths or Reason maybe.

If you want to do music, Logic or DP4 or Nuendo work fine, otherwise ProTools is still the audio daddy.
