I recently bought Logic Studio 9 and am still learning. However, I was doing some recording last night and couldn't for the life of me find a way to get a higher monitor level in my headphones. I ended up having to record in Garage Band where I get a real nice monitor level. How do I control it in Logic?

Also, when I bounce recordings out and put them on CD, they are relatively quiet. I need to turn the volume on the device way up. Is that a setting I am missing somewhere?

Hi there!

What kind of audio interface do you use for recording? Normally you can set the volume on your headphones either there or on the master fader, the stereo out, in Logic.
There you should also have a look at the volume peaks before bouncing. To explain it in an easy way...you should maximise volume there until 0.0DB...you can achieve this with compressor plugins and a limiter at the end.

Cheers!!!
