Not really, perfectly happy with the 2011 performance on Ventura.Yeah for real, "oh noooooo! better buy a new laptop!"
Why pay more to do the same thing? When I’ll feel the need I will upgrade.

It's worth a lot more than that as long as Apple doesn't switch over to a subscription model for future updates.I've been wanting to get into making music for ages but I'm not sure if I can justify spending £200 on a bit of software I might get bored of using after a couple of days. I have a MIDI keyboard and everything.
Yeah maybe you missed my quote marks. You and I are in the same boat. I'm a big open core fan myself. I have several "vintage" macs that are well past their sunset date according to Apple. Not really, perfectly happy with the 2011 performance on Ventura.

Thanks @LancesUK . I checked that & I don't have MIDI 2.0 enabled. Looking at the NI forums other users have tested this & it didn't make any difference. There is a hack which involves changing some of the ports in the Environment window, but I think I'll just use the individual instruments (rather than loading via the Komplete Kontrol plug-in) while NI make the necessary code changes. In classic Apple fashion, eheh. Did you try disabling Midi 2.0 just to see whether it makes a difference?
That’s good to know that at least there is a hack. Geez, it’s been ages since I last opened the environment! Thanks @LancesUK . I checked that & I don't have MIDI 2.0 enabled.
