A more sensible reply would be suggesting checking if buffer settings are high enough. Checking if CPU usage is at an optimal level. Making sure drivers for any interfaces are up to date and trying the same thing with just system audio with the interface unplugged to see if the problem is the interface itself or a buffer/driver issue.

I had some issues with certain Apple loops and sound files...they sounded fuzzy and badly produced....They now play fine, so either they were replaced in the update, or part of the DAW was to blame...either way, it's a worthwhile update.
