Has anyone noticed a slight delay when logging back into your account after your Mac has been asleep/locked?

In the past, particularly on my rMBP moreso than on my iMac, entering my PW and hitting Enter would virtually immediately accept the PW and open the system. Now, there is a bit of a delay, almost as if I entered an incorrect PW and the system is "thinking" about letting me in or not.

The delay is from 1-4 seconds, and does not seem consistent.

I'm not noticing login delay after logging back from lock/sleep. However, when I boot my Mac then there is an additional login delay of 1-2 seconds which wasn't there in Yosemite.
