Login Freezes

Hi everyone,

I'm having freezing problems when the login window comes up with my Emac running os panther. Only happens when I click the window, retart, etc. works fine.

It all started with random freezes when running prgrams like indesign and quark.

I am unable to boot in safe mode.
So far, I have......
reset the pram
boot from os and use utlities and repair disk - no problems now
boot from disk warrior and no problems now
used fsck and everything is ok now

I'm stumped 🙁

Any ideas is always greatly appreciated

back up everything. this is often a sign of failing hard drive (was for me)
