Login interrupts screensaver

Can anyone assist?
iMac Pro (OS Big Sur) has suddenly started quitting the screensaver, going to ‘Login screen’. Driving me spare. The S/saver is on for 10mins then goes straight to LOGIN. I can’t seem to keep the screensaver on.

Check your settings in System Preferences/Security & Privacy pane.
General tab, then "Require password (time) after sleep or screensaver begins"
You could change the time to a longer period, or turn it off completely (uncheck the box)
