Login Issue in macbook pro 2011

I recently bought macbook pro and its keep on asking for admin password while login (same login screen appears after entering correct passwrod)
please let me know how to resolve this?? thanks

If you don't know the admin password you may end up having to do a clean install of the OS.

But before that, you may try searching on Apple's support site. There's a WEALTH of information there believe it or not.

While searching there, you may even come across this:

Mac OS X: Changing or resetting an account password.

There's a section within the above link particularly related to "Resetting the original administrator account password".
