Does anyone else have this issue? When I turn on my 2014 Retina Macbook Pro, the login screen shows my battery percentage but that battery percentage is at least five percent off compared to when I login. For example, the login screen shows 95%, but when I login, it shows me I'm at 100% which was correct. I had just unplugged it from the charger. Anyone else having this issue? I am using Yosemite.

When I login the background picture normally changes as part of its catching up, along with the battery status etc, it doesn't waste effort updating stuff when you aren't logged in.

Only takes a couple of seconds or so after login and everything (inc the battery status), is updated.

I have noticed the same. On the login screen it usually underestimates the battery percentage by about 4%-5%. It might just be a small bug on the login screen because for me it doesn't seem like it's actually affecting battery life.

Thank you! I was hoping it wasn't just me! I purchased the laptop a month ago, and I was hopingy battery wasn't defective!

Even I bought this laptop a week ago and I have this same problem on my mac but it didn't affect my battery life though....
