This is my first Apple computer as of yet, and overall I am very pleased with it. However I seem to have a problem though.

Whenever I boot up the laptop and get in the login screen, everything is still fine. The problem starts when I click my username with the cursor (built in trackpad). The cursor then starts lagging and I can't press the hitbox for my password, also my keyboard is unresponsive, even though I can still use the arrow keys, which brings up the username and guest icon again, in combination with the password hitbox (which it shouldn't do). I then need to restart because I can't do anything else.

If I boot up my laptop and use the keyboard keys to choose the user, then I can type in my password just fine.

I tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM. Anyone else has this problem or can help me with it?

Anyone else experiences this? Or should I make an apple store appointment?
