Even though my account is @me.com. I've found out that it's possible to login to Mail2Web.com as username@mac.com I can even send as mac.com from M2Web but alas not receive mail. Theoretically, this shouldn't be possible.
This is a trial account created after MobileMe began so it never previously existed as a mac.com username. (I have an old .mac account under another username as well, so I do understand the distinction).
The only thing that is stopping me converting this trial account is that I absolutely do NOT want a me.com email address. If I could make it it work as a mac.com address I would sign up tomorrow.
Can anyone duplicate this Mail2Web behaviour and is there a way to make it receive?
