Iam currently running on 10.8.5 and my login wallpaper (where you need to type your password) is not the same as the wallpaper you chose. For example, I chose a new image for my desktop background and i expected it to be shown on the login background as well. Instead, it still shows me the default galaxy wallpaper for my login background...is that a bug or a way to fix it completely ?
Thanks 🙂

No--thats not a bug--that's the logon wallpaper. I don't think you an change it--but maybe someone has figured out how. Wallpaper is personal and tied to your account so in reality, you shouldn't be able to see your wallpaper until you login.
