Hello, I have two Logitech Anywhere MX Mouse. One bought in 2012 and the other bought few years earlier than that. For strange reason, sometimes when I used the browsers, it scored up/down automatically. Buttons also did not behave as expected. Anybody knows what is wrong? The chance of both devices malfunctioning should be low. Perhaps it is the problem with my Mac or software problem?

One important feature that I want is the ability to use the mouse on any surface like glass. The Anywhere MX does that. Another feature that is desirable is comfort. Any suggestion?

I see noone has responded to this yet, so... I have the very mice you inquire about. I have used the Logitech anywhere models for a while. I used to experience jittery/ghostly scrolling behavior, but either thoroughly cleaned the device, changed the batteries and/or checked/reset mouse settings on computer to see if that solved issue or replaced with another LT anywhere.

I cant remember which helped solve the issue.

But here's some advice, Logitech has seen fit to make their newer products with non replaceable batteries, so find an older model new on walmart, amazon or ebay and send them a stink email telling them you dont approve of their nonsense. The first time i found out that they were going this route i called up their sales support line to find out what the advantage was and they didnt have an answer. I asked them how long the nonreplaceable battery would last under different conditions and they could not give a straight answer. Theres a reason there are replaceable rechargeable batteries and tech companies are trying to screw everybody by offering non replaceable items so youll eventually have to buy a new device because they are too impatient to wait until it breaks on its own and know the batteries will fail all at around the same time.

Say NO to nonreplaceable batteries and support companies that allow you to use your own rechargeables or buy older models.

Oh and happy holidays. Hahahahahahaha

Don't know if this relates at all, but there can be interference between a wireless mouse and USB3 devices. Here's the information page for the Performance MX:

http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/performance-mouse-mx/faq#link_38032

I purchased the referenced USB extender, positioned it very near my mouse, and my erratic response issues went away. I didn't find the extender on their website so it may be no longer available from them, but your could probably find an equivalent elsewhere.
