Logitech C270 webcam on Mac?

I have a Mac Mini(2009) running OS 10.6.8.

Will the Logitech C270 web cam work with my setup?

Will it work with my setup for Skype and/or iChat?

Logitech's web site stated that the C615 is for Macs but only states Windows for the C270.

I had an old c510 (I think that's what the Logitech model was). It worked just fine as far back as 10.6 (snow leopard) without any additional drivers.

Works perfectly. You don't even need to install any drivers.

Does anyone know why Logitech's web site states the C615 is the only one for a Mac? Does it have Mac specific software?

It states the C615 as 1080p and the C270 as 720p but for things such as online hangouts even 720p is overkill. That's why I'm considering the C270.

720p is fine. i use it for webmeetings, facetime + streaming. it's ok. everything else might be an overkill. it's a good deal for 20 dollars or whatever it costs now.
