You can set Smart Alerts for zones if you log in through the Circle website app. You also have to have a Circle subscription to do that. You paint in the zones you want it to alert, multiple painted zones for alert notifications are availability as well for the same camera.

I had the zones set up with the Logi service, but what I was saying is that the zones you set up do not translate over to the HomeKit integration and as of yet there is no way to define zones with HomeKits motion detection implementation.

The only way I can get live video in HomeKit is to turn the camera off in the Circle app, then power cycle the camera. Once I open the Circle app again, the Home app tells me the camera is in use by someone else. Might send it back to Amazon and wait for more HomeKit cameras to hit the market.

Has anyone updated their cameras and Logi Circle app recently? I'm loving the new snapshots in the Logi app notifications, but I'm not loving the delay from the motion triggering the sensor and the notification being received (usually between 30-60 seconds, which is terrible).

Been receiving waaaay too many notifications too - I've set the camera facing outside my house and everything seems to trigger the motion sensor (I've paid for Premium and even set motion detection zones, which hasn't made much of a difference). I also get way too many notification if I switch to HomeKits implementation of motion detection.

Not sure what's going on but there's still a LOT of work to do to get this right.
