Hi,

I bought a Logitech k400 wireless keyboard. Although it has no mac drivers it works out of the box. Unfortunately, every time the mini wakes-up from sleep mode the keyboard remains unresponsive.
Does anyone have a solution?

Thx.

do not put the mini to sleep. seriously just sleep the display.

okay sleep a mac and sleep a pc have had issues since 2000. sleep a display has had much less issues.

If you sleep a macmini power drops from 7 or 8 watts to about 1. so lets say you save 7 watts for every hour of sleep. lets say the mini sleeps 12 hours a day times 7 watts is 84 watts a day. round to 100 watts for easy math times 30 days in a month or 3000 watts or 3 kilo watts my rates are 17 cents a k watt or 50 cents a month. So for 50 cents a month I have 0 sleep issues.

the display uses 16 watts and when sleeping 1. so I save 4500 watts or 4.5 k watts or 75 cents a month. this I do since the display wakes up and I don't have any problems.

If you have an iMac or mac pro power saved by sleeping vs idle is much greater. So not sleeping one of them is a bigger issue.

My solution works for most users . You could email logitech but the keyboard was not sold as a mac keyboard . you could email apple and they will say that you don't have a mac keyboard. My way is free to try and may work for you.

Haven't found a solution for the keyboard. But using an iPad with a Mac mini APP works much better! Also works with the sleep mode.
