I went to the Logitech site. I downloaded the application and upon launching the app. I found it said didn’t support my 2018 iPad Pro. Does anyone have a link for an updated app.? I tried to call, but due to the Pandemic they are not taking support phone calls.

This aside, I can say it is going to take me some time to get used to using a Mouse even with the new iOS that more directly supports a mouse vs. the “Accessibility“ work around. I gave up on that one. I’m trying to train myself to keep my hand on the mouse and not my fingers to the screen. Just messing around with this during “social distancing”. Take care all!

What app? Are you talking about the PC-based app? This mouse does work with the iPad and it does not require any additional s/w on the iPad (I have one).

It does have an app. Under a previous version of iOS via “accessibility “ there was an app. To use from Logitech. It allowed me to customize the buttons. Have you been able to do this? If so please tell me how. Thanks in advance. I appreciate any help! Yes I’m using an iPad Pro 2018. Check out the Apple App Store reviews others are finding the same.

I never saw the app, I just used the button mapping options under Devices in Accessibility.

Does this programming buttons work with the newest iOS? Do you have to go in under accessibility and turn it on every time? Previously I found the button cursor was always on/displayed which I found to be less than user friendly mill give it a shot tomorrow. Thanks for the update. But to be clear the Logitech app did work when using accessibility.

You have to enable AssistiveTouch. I only enable it when I use the mouse and I added a shortcut to do it in Control Center so the menu circle isn't on the screen all the time when not using a mouse. I couldn't find the app in the App Store, looking under Logitech - do you have a link or the full app name?

I know this sounds crazy. But I think they pulled it. I deleted it earlier. I did give a “bad” review of it via the Apple App Store. Anyone, am I hallucinating? Either way there should be an app for this mouse from Logitech to program the buttons on the mouse.

My point was that you don't need the app, that the button programming support is built into iOS.

Does The cursor button stay visible all the time when you use the accessibility button customization? I’ll give it a try tomorrow.

I just found this. Maybe this will help.

Turn off Always Show Menu under AssistiveTouch if you want to hide the menu button.
