Hi, can someone please help me with this issue I am having.

I have a Logitech MX keys Keyboard (for Windows) and I am using it for the Mac.

I have set my language to UK however my @ key is on the 2 key and not where it should be (or what I am used to) being next to closer to the enter key.

any ideas what settings I specifically need to change?

From Wikipedia:
Apple only supply a custom "British" keyboard layout with major changes from the standard UK layout:
The " and @ keys are swapped....
These are normally reversed on non-Apple UK keyboards.

You can switch to “British-PC layout”, restart your Mac and the keys should be working as you want them. I did this with Corsair K60 Low Profile and everything maps correctly.
Thanks but where do I do that? I have already set it to UK above

In System Prefs/Keyboard select the 'Input Sources' tab,
bottom left, click on the + button,
then select British > scroll down to 'GB British PC'.
Then click Add and select it.

(That's in Monterey, but I assume Ventura has a similar process.)

Exactly that. I’ll just add that for me, this only worked after restarting Mac. Before restart, it was selected but layout did not change (Intel mini and Ventura).

I have the MX Mechanical and if it's the same, you have to hold down FN+O for a few seconds to put it into "Mac" mode and FN+P for a few seconds to put it into "Windows" mode. I usually do it when the keyboard backlight has gone to sleep and then you'll see the 1 (or 2 or 3 depending on which you are using) connection key (next to the escape key at the top) light up briefly to confirm it's switched modes.

If you don't set it to the right mode for the platform you are using then some of the keys are swapped round.

thanks I have tried the and can see the light has switched but my @ sign is still above the 2 key. Need to be on the speech mark key (near return key)

Ah okay, well you might just have to get used to it, I'm afraid. I have my Mac on British English and for as long as I've ever owned Macs the @ has been on the 2 key. It is a pain if you switch between Mac and Windows but muscle memory should kick in before long.
