Hey guys.

I hope someone will be able to help me. I bought a Logitech MX Master 2S wireless mouse and I have a huge problems with it. Mouse is a bit laggy when I watching it on my external LG 27" screen or on Macbook Pro sceen (a bit less, but still not perfect). But, when I watch it on both screens in the same time, works pefectly :).

I tried everything (update firmware, install and deinstall Logitech Options software, delete Bluetooth plisk, etc.). Non of these things helped. Also, I tried with Unifying received, but not to much better.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I found a solution. It looks like from some reason my external screen get only 30Hz refresh rate when it is the only screen. When I open Macbook lid in the same time (both open), both of them are on 60Hz. In order to fix it (as it has been working on 60Hz all the time in past), I had to get back to native resolution and then to one I wanted. And from some reason it work again on 60Hz. I hope this will help to someone.

What it's the rest of the setup that you are currently using for that?
(bt or unifying, LO yes/no, LCC.p/no)?

I'm on LG 4k screen and using mouse over BT (together with Apple wireless keyboard), and everything is working perfectly.

THANK YOU!! The problem for me wasn't the refresh rate, but because my dual screen monitor set up had the monitors at different resolutions!!!

I noticed that my MX Master 2 was acting crazy only one monitor, but I never thought the screen resolution would affect it!?

Edit: It's not working again. I just bought a new MX Master 3. It's jumping around everywhere again when it's connected to bluetooth and USB.

This is so odd. One day everything's working fine, the next day, the bluetooth on my mac wont connect to a brand new MX Vertical, my old MX Master 2, but it as of now it's connecting to the MX Master 3.

I solved this issue by plugging the receiver directly into my MBP rather than into the LG5K I’m using. It’s been perfect ever since. Annoying to be sure, but less so than a jumpy mouse.

And to be clear, the trick seems to be having the adapter plugged directly into your computer. No hubs or anything else in the middle. I can't explain it, but I verified it today by putting it on a USB-C -> USB-A hub that had another device on the same hub, and the problem returned. The only thing between the dongle and my computer is a USB-A -> USB-C adapter (Aukey brand). I've tried every other solution on the internet. This is the only one that fixed it for me. Good luck.
