I am running 10.15.5 on a 2015 mbp and my mouse will not connect to Bluetooth on this machine. It works via the unifying receiver however.

I have tried resetting the bluetooth module, dream reset, cycles mouse power and bluetooth on the mac to no avail.

The mouse WILL connect to my 2012 mbp running 10.14.6 as well as my windows machine via bluetooth

My corresponding MX Keys keyboard WILL connect via bluetooth on my 2015 machine, just not the mouse.

Has anyone else ran into this issue?

Have you tried downloading the Logi Options software for the mouse? I have the MX Master 3 as well and have had no problems with it connecting or anything like that...I'm on a 2019 13' MBP.
If you haven't downloaded the Logi software try doing that and pairing the mouse through that software.

I have it and it still presents Issues. Quite frustrating

Mine works fine without the options software, connected both to my Mac Mini 2018 and my iPad 11" without issue.

My Logitech Bluetooth mouse worked under Sierra, until after about a week when it just wouldn't pair.

Tried all sorts of troubleshooting: reset pram, reset smc, reset Bluetooth module, clear Bluetooth prefs. No luck.

Yet it still worked fine in Bootcamp.

Then I upgraded to Mojave and it's working again. Why? For how long will it work? Who knows?!

I just got a Logi Ergo K860 and MX 3 mouse. Both are DoA after rebooting Mac, so I have to reconnect Apple Keyboard and Mouse to log in. Logitech provides this absurd explanation: their devices cannot work when FV2 is in locked state.

If that's true, how do Apple BT devices work flawlessly? And why doesn't the BT assistant open? I'm about to take both of these back. Absurd.

I just bought my MX Master keyboard and mouse a few months ago. They worked fine until recently. Just after Mac upgrade to Big Sur, the mouse was no longer discoverable via bluetooth, but would work with the dongle. Turns out my wife attempted to connect my mouse to her computer, so slot 1 of the MX3 mouse was taken. I cleared channel 1 by clicking until "1" was lit up, and held down for a few seconds. It popped right back up on bluetooth! Had nothing to do with Big Sur. I assigned channel 2 to her machine so we both can use this mouse on different computers easily as intended. Hope this helps anyone else that runs into the same issue.

That's a helpful note. I don't understand the rave reviews of Logitech's keyboards and Mouses. They are nice looking and type well, but soooo many connection problems. How is a keyboard great if you can't use it after you restart? Logitech have no idea how to implement a Bluetooth stack. <sigh>

2012 iMac with Catalina 10.15.17 installed. Mx master 3 hover not working. Completely unusable. As a developer, this issue is really costing me a lot of time and money. I also tried on a 2014 MacBook Air with Mojave 10.14.6 same problem. Connected via dongle or Bluetooth. I'm upgrading to Big Sur to see if this fixes my issue.

How did this go? Big Sur doesn’t seem to fix anything over Catalina for me. Mostly eye candy, unless you have an M1 Mac. What problem are you having?

I’m using the MX master 3 just fine on a 2018 Mac mini with same Catalina as you. I have BT problems with Logitech keyboards.... Anyway, a few days ago I switched to the Logitech dongle instead Bluetooth, to be able to use logi software custom functions. The MX master was unusable, skipping and lagging nearly every time I touched the mouse. It worked fine on BT. I found a suggestion somewhere from five years ago (wish I had the link now) to use a usb extension cable between dongle and wherever you have it connected. For me just using a usb-right angle adapter fixed the problem.

I have also heard of problems with Apple USB 3 electronics causing interference with Bluetooth or logitech. Maybe something else to explore.

OK So I bought the Logitech MX Keyboard and Mouse, mainly as I use multiple computers and was sick of having multiple kb/Mice on my desk. But here is my situation.
I have 'slot 1' on both devices for my Hackintosh, running Catalina, via Bluetooth.
Slot 2 is for my work laptop, running Win 10 Pro, via USB Dongle.
Slot 3 for my MBP, Big Sur, via Bluetooth.
Everything works without issues EXCEPT the mouse on Big Sur. If I close the lid on my MBP, and don't use it for a couple of days (without turning it off, or rebooting etc) then whenever I do go to use it, 9/10 times the mouse is not recognised. It is shown in BT settings as disconnected, if I then hold down the 3 button on the mouse, until it starts blinking rapidly, another Logitech MX3 Mouse entry pops up in BT settings, and hitting 'connect' will connect it and it works fine. If I close the lid for a few minutes, and reopen it still works, but any extended amount if time and I need to repeat the process. so annoying. I am running Logi Options on all three.

The only other issue is sometimes on Catalina, the 'custom' gestures etc stop working and I have to restart the Logi Options Daemon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

I just bought an MX Master 3 mouse. Can't get it to pair via BT with OS 12 Monterey. Is anyone using this mouse successfully with Moneterey? Any tricks or tips? I downloaded the Logi Options app but that was no help. For now, I'm using it with the USB dongle but don't want to block up a USB port for that longer term.

I just have this problem 5 days ago. Connection thru Bluetooth is ON and OFF. Try this trick that I've done if it will work on you. I'm on Mac OS Monterey too.

Delete any App related to its driver, log out and install Logi Options+. I'm on my second day of no-disconnection-via-bluetooth. Goodluck.

Thanks. I wasn't able to pair it via BT before OR after installing Logi Options, so I don't think it has anything to do with the driver or apps related to it.

I gave up on Bluetooth and am just using the provided USB dongle with my iMac Pro. Strangely, Bluetooth works fine with my MacBook Pro (14" M1 Pro).
