What do you all like in the MX Master 3s?
I like the size and shape. I find my hand rests perfectly over the top and I don't have to do the hover claw thing like with the Magic Mouse.

9to5 had a photo of the MX Master 4 yesterday and the shape looks very similar to the 3S. Only thing I cannot tell from the 4 photo is the surface finish. The 3S has this rubberized finish that gets really gross from skin oils and is hard to keep clean.

yeah I hated the material of the MX 3S. It go gross, as you say, within a couple of weeks

I had MX Master 2 it lasted for 2 years.
I upgraded it and I had MX Master 3S and it stopped clicking after a year.
I bought 3s again. It stopped working after a year also.

Now using Mx Anywhere 3S without any issues.

Had both — they're literally the same mouse inside.

Only real difference is the "for Mac" version ships in the lighter colour and only comes with Bluetooth (no Bolt receiver in the box). Bluetooth still pairs to Windows fine if you ever need to swap sides.

Rule of thumb:
- Mac-only setup → "for Mac", usually a bit cheaper on Apple Store
- Mixed setup and you want the 2.4GHz Bolt dongle → standard one

Heads up on macOS: the two thumb buttons and the gesture button don't really do anything out of the box until you install Logi Options+ (or something similar). Same on both versions, so it's not a reason to pick one over the other.
