Do you happen to use a Logitech MX Master mouse? And, if you do, do you als have a button set for Mission Control?

When I use Mission Control, with said button, it works that one time, but not again. Seems it doesn't work again, till I log back into my Ventura macOS. Any idea why?

I just gave it a whirl and it works fine here... using an Mx Master 3S on Ventura. But I use SteerMouse to customize my mouse actions. If you are using Logitech's software for this.... ditch it and give SteerMouse a whirl. Not free software, but well worth the cost if you are a mouse junkie.

I'm using a MX Master 3 with Logitech Options+ and have no problems with assigned buttons. I have the thumb button assigned for Mission Control in the Options+ app and it always works. My thumb button is only for Mission Control and not used for any per-app setting.

The Options+ app is a bit buggy with reboots as it sometimes doesn't work with per-app settings. I have to shutdown my MBP wait 10-ish seconds and power back up. Not sure if it's something buggy with Ventura or the Options+ drivers themselves but most likely the Options+ drivers as Logitech's software has never been great to begin with.

I'm not running any special software, just set it to activate through the OS prefs as below (Mouse Button 3 is the button that gets pressed when I click down on the scroll wheel). I've been doing it this way for a long time.

Are you running the Logitech crapware that came with the mouse? Wondering if that's the issue. I'm using a G305 and just uninstalled everything Logitech as soon as I was done configuring the mouse.

I tried every mouse button on the menu, but none of them mapped to the gesture button next to where you put your thumb on the MX mouse :(
