Does anyone know if the Logitech software still installs APED?
Can you use basic functions without installing any software/drivers?
. . . I'm sure you can tie those buttons to Expose.
What do you mean by that?
I just bought a MX Revolution (used) first time I ever buy something used, never doing that ever again. Doesn't even work. I've tried everything on Logitech site. I came too the conclusion the battery is ****ed. Now I have to find a way too open it.
True, I could return it. Thing is the *******, blacked out the S/N and crapwhat a waste, $60 down the drain
I learnt my lesson, always buy something new.
I've even tried to use it on my parents Toshiba laptop, still wouldn't do ****.
Honestly why can't Apple make a wireless/bluetooth mouse like some of the MX's be way more comfortable for the hand.
Does the USB tranceiver device need to be in line of sight with the mouse for the mouse to work? Or can it be plugged in to the back of an imac/acd with no troubles?
is this mouse recommended for a mac, or is it better to get something cheaper
Thanks. It'll work fine out of sight. Mine is currently plugged in behind the tower. I've also had it plugged into the back of the ACD and works fine.
It is Mac compatible. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/130&cl=us,en#
Though, I wouldn't use the Logitech software that comes with it. As it installs APE and the Logitech software is quite buggy and crap on its own. APE just adds to the problems.
I'd look into USB Overdrive or Steermouse. I use USB Overdrive which works great with it. Steermouse allows you to use the search button on the top of the mouse, as USB Overdrive does not.
