Logitech Wireless Headset Not Working Properly

The headset, which works fine on my PC, has garbled audio on my new iMac. I don't know the exact model number, but I believe it's the ClearChat model that came out a couple of years ago.

I think it's supposed to be compatible with Macs, so I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas. I'm new to Macs & would greatly appreciate any help.

Barely intelligible. Mostly buzzing.

Same headset different problem

My headset works fine with everything everything except the Yahoo Messenger 3.0 beta. Works with skype etc. I have tried everything I can think of including restarting in 32 bit.

There is a firmware update available at the logitec website.
