Logitech Z-5500s and Rev B iMac

So I finally get my Z5500 speakers and I realize that only some of the speakers work through it...I have the black plug plugged into the iMac Optical out with the green and yellow not being used.... I'm takin it that I have the wrong cord, and if this is the case can someone tell me what cord I really need to have all of my speakers and sub work
