"Logo Design Love" by David Airey

Is anyone familiar with this book or the designer?

A friend recommended it to me as I would like to master the craft of logo design (I have dabbled a bit, learned the basics but have not had any extensive training or done any extensive reading for that matter).

The designer is well known. I haven't seen the book so can't comment.
