Was watching TV yesterday, and saw the "Multi People" commercial. And on the green call status bar at the top, it shows the true length between loading screens. Guess Apple forgot to fix that one!

    http://www.apple.com/iphone/gallery/ads/#multi-people-large

Theres almost 10 seconds between each loaded screen!

They would get in trouble if they edited that timer to make it look as if it was actually that fast.

I don't think it was a mistake. They squeezed a couple-minute-long call into a 30-second commercial. What's wrong with that?

The point of the ad is still made. The ad wasn't about being able to cram multiple tasks and conversation into 30 seconds, but that you can use voice and data at the same time.

Exactly. Why would they purposely try to deceive with shortening call-timers? It's not the point of the commercial and it gives a honest look at the iPhone with them keeping it in there.

It says "sequences shortened," Chicken Little. No mistake there at all. Those apps don't work that fast because there is no light speed Internet connection yet.

    Amen....

I love it when people post about stuff like and think they have "uncovered" something sinister. The sky is not falling.....

I guess that you didn't notice that the Droid commercials are edited the same way. It is "sequence shortened" for your entertainment, your experience may vary. I escaped from Verizon two months ago and have missed them, not.
