Yeah, so throwing in some random cusswords (for emphasis) or extra raunchiness does not equal comedy. So many people from my generation don't get that! I'm looking at you, SNL!

Eh. it was humorous. The kind of humor that you laugh cuz its just so surreal/awkward. Not, like...witty of course. but it got out some chuckles.

Big Waste of Time

I do see a lawsuit on the Horizon by the actors in this movie, unless the creator obtained permission which I do not see happening.

Don't bother watching it, I got half way thru and closed it

I've found that people who really love technology (as in, people on this site) don't really love humor.

Oh, they'll argue that they do. They'll link to things they like to try and prove me wrong. But here's the thing: They only love the absolute best of the best. If something's not amazing then they have no use for it. It's either a 100 or a zero. They rate nothing in between. (Look at the comments so far. You all either love it or hate it. This is my point.)

But here's the deal, guys. If 'the best' is all you like then you're not really all that into humor. (Likewise, if you only have 2 restaurants you like, then you're not really into food, no matter how much you love those 2. Same thing.) It's ok, there's nothing wrong with this! But it's time to own up to the fact. Macrumors nerds are not humor fans. I've been here a long time and it's very clear to me. This level of humor (somewhat funny, but not amazing...a solid C+) ALWAYS performs poorly when posted here. The concept of "ok" in the world of humor just doesn't make sense to people here.

It's just the way it is.

Very well said, sir. And I can't seem to grasp the purpose of the "not funny at all" or "stupid" posts. OP and others obviously thought differently. You people do know what opinions are, right?

Now then. Off to watch the videos which I'm sure I'll find amusing even if it is in a stupid way.

I agree... for the most part. ;)

But I don't think it's that they only like "the best" humor, I think it's that they only like "smart" humor. I've seen this for a while now... the general population seems to like "dumb" humor... fart jokes, random swearing, etc... Whereas nerds don't find that funny. They only like well thought-out and constructed, genuinely clever humor. I guess you could argue that that's the "best", I just thought I would add my observations.

if your definition of humor is as shallow as random 'lol apple' stuff instead of maybe cleverly picking on the real flaws, which there are plenty of, then so be it.

just don't define people who don't think this is particularly funny as bitter.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HHLNQ3BZEA

look at that one for example

instead of saying "the ipad is sucking my c_ck right now", which isn't really specific at all and the only point of it would be to say "apple promo videos put their products on a pedestal", this one cleverly makes fun of the fact of lacking flash, no camera (the ability to 'view and share the ****' out of your pictures, but not being able to take any), the fact that a 10 inch tablet isn't the best 'movie watching experience'.

but whoever finds the OPs video really "funny as hell", sure why not.
It's just not satirical at all :/
