Out of interest, has anyone's phone crash or not worked halfway though a commute. How did the tfL respond when trying to touch out of a station?

I've had my phone decide to do an update because I miss tapped on the now/later box. They let me out without an issue. Since then I'm rocking my watch and use that to tap in and out.
[doublepost=1461494375][/doublepost]I should add if your doing one trip you'd be charge the lines maximum fare for failing to tap out. On that day I didn't because id already completed enough trips to pay for a 1-4 zone travel card.
