Ever since I uninstalled bootcamp and my bootcamp partition, my bootup time is alot longer. The initial gray screen when you turn on the mac stays there for about 20 seconds before doing the rest of the bootup.

The initial gray screen I am talking about is where you would choose whether you would want windows or os x, the problem is windows and all that is gone so I dont know why it is taking so long all of a sudden.

Try going into System Preferences, Startup Disk, and selecting your OS X drive as the booting system. Reboot and see if it "sticks"
