Is there a place to purchase a longer (or extension) to the USB cable for the iPhone? I want to put a dock on my bedside table and then use the plug in adapter to just charge the iPhone ... problem is that the supplied cable is far too short. I need like 6 feet.

you can buy USB extension cables all over the place. any of them really should work without a problem.
Has anyone seen a USB extender that kind of would match Apple's cables? I mean like the simple white color? I can only find black or that silver-ish color.
