if it was the hard drive, I think he would have gotten the question mark on boot up.

Still, A great computer that might be an easy fix

I'll swing by there tomorrow and pick it up. /shrugs. We'll see where I can go from there.
Incidentally, I was able to find a 27" crt Sony Trinitron that I was looking for to play some NES/SNES stuff with some old consoles we found in a friends garage lol. It was HEAVY, and cost me a whopping $12.00 lol.
