I was in the market for the official LocalTalk kit to hook up my 512Ke and my 8600 as the direct serial able method was causing power issues.

I went to eBay and bid on an old DB-9 kit for the 512Ke.

Nobody else bid and I got it for roughly $5!
I've seen these up for $50+ quite often.

I came with two of everything, as well as the original box, registration form and a still sealed manual!

It's a specific item but a nice find all the same :D

    Noice! ;)

Now the question is, do you use it, or display it? :D

Pretty sure these aren't really display-worthy items.

OP, that is a good and semi rare find these days. Nice one.

    Nice!

I remember throwing away so many of those boxes and manuals back in the day as a Mac support person... :(
