Anyone know of a good slim minimalist thin case like Spigen Thin Fit iPhone X for covers top and bottom? I don't like how its exposed in the top and bottom.

I'm not sure about for the iPhone X, but for the iPhone 7 Spigen makes a case called the "Thin Fit 360" which is exactly as you describe, a thin fit case with more protection around the sides, bottom and top.

This Spigen Thin Fit case scratched the silver chrome of my friend's iPhone. I strongly advice to avoid using cases with sharp edge because it will definitely scratch the stainless frame when you remove the case. And it also exposes the buttons, the top and lower parts of the frame, thus, not protecting the beautiful shiny frame.

There is a bunch of snap on cases similar that cover the top on amazon.

Care to share which ones are good?

I had 3GS back in the day, its almost impossible to keep it shiny. Put some metal/Aluminum polish and wipe it with a cloth, most if not all scratches will be gone

i’ve been using the thin fit case for my past two phones and now the x, never had it scratching any of my devices. i’ve yet to find another minimalist case that has a slight front lip like this case without adding bulk or having too much lip to interfere with swipe gestures, and i’ve gone through 4 iphone x cases already.

i tried the totalee and spigen air, which are both really similar, but the front lips are not raised. wasn’t a dealbreaker to me - i actually loved the feeling of not having a lip at all, but the hard plastic was just too slippery for me and i felt like i was risking dropping my phone every time i was holding it. that’s actually one reason why this spigen case has been my go-to case. pitaka is next on my list bc it seems to be like a peel case but with more grip and integrated metal plates for magnetic mounts, but it’s also $50 instead of $10.

op: i personally would never have a case with a bottom lip bc of how much i swipe up to go home. others don’t seem to mind, but that’s a dealbreaker for me, not sure how tolerant you are when it comes to that.

Sounds like the Caudabe Veil XT may be what you are looking for. I personally have the Sheath and I love it. I never used Caudabe cases before, but I love this case on my X.

I have one of those cases similar to that, those cheap 0.03mm thin cases.
Hoping to find something like more solid like that Spigen type.

Actually the Caudabe Lucid Clear, not the Veil XT, is more along the lines of what OP wants. Veil XT, Peel, Togo are all the same. Lucid Clear is thicker, totally transparent, and is basically like a full coverage version of the Spigen. Try it out, it’s great. Been using mine for a while now.

Spigen Liquid Armor.
Spigen Liquid Air Armor iPhone X Case with Durable Flex and Easy Grip Design for Apple iPhone X (2017) - Matte Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074CMWM9H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_eICtAbB2DS2DK

Been using this case for 3 years. First iPhone 6s. Then 7Plus and now 8Plus. Keep trying to find something new to change it up, but always revert back. Very minimal case, good grip and decent protection.
