I'm looking for a hard case for the 3G iPhone, something as minimal/slim as possible, that can be used with the iPhone dock. I don't really like the Incase slider where I have to remove the bottom; I want something that can stay as-is and go on the dock. Any recommendations?

Thanks.

incase is the only thing i can think about, but you have rejected it
so i say goggle or wait till someone answers

It's not possible since the 3G dock fits very tight to the phone itself. Your better option is to do the agent 18 case and universal dock. Since the agent 18 case has the dock adapter that fits the universal dock you would not have to remove the case to fit the iPhone into the dock. There may be other cases that also have a universal dock adapter, but nothing will fit the actual 3G dock without being removed first.

Sena Cases have dockable cases.

I called them on this because I know how tight the iPhone fits. They said at first they are tight but after a while they slide in easier. I did not purchase one so not really sure. They have a couple that they claim are dockable.

I have one of the non-dockable cases and I just bought one for my wifes new 3gs.

I have an Otterbox Defender. Now the only thing I can dock it in is an actual boat dock.

Have considered dremel mods to the dock but at that point you might as well fabricate your own. For now, I'm going back to a simple cable. Wish I had a better answer.
